Anti-money laundering and combating the financing of terrorism
Fort Nami Limited maintains an anti-money laundering and combating the financing of terrorism framework in accordance with applicable Mauritius legislation, regulatory requirements and the conditions applicable to its licences.
The Company conducts customer due diligence and verifies the identity of its clients and, where applicable, their beneficial owners in accordance with applicable AML/CFT legislation, regulatory requirements and its internal policies and procedures.
Fort Nami Limited maintains appropriate records and provides information to competent regulatory and public authorities where required by applicable law.
Where required under applicable law, suspicious transactions and activities are reported to the Financial Intelligence Unit of Mauritius in accordance with applicable statutory requirements.
The Financial Services Commission has confirmed that it has no objection to the appointments of the Company's Money Laundering Reporting Officer and Deputy Money Laundering Reporting Officer/Compliance Officer.
